1985-2011

December 22nd marked the retirement of Mr. Peadar Folan. Mr Folan has been a member of staff in Buaile Beag for 26 years. Beore that he worked in Scoil Náisiúnta Inis Trá Mhór, St. Brendan's NS, Co. Mayo and St. Brendan's, Tuam Rd.

In all of these schools but in particular Scoil Naomh Sheosaimh, Mr. Folan dedicated himself to the education of the children in his care. In 36 years of teaching Mr. Folan has seen many changes. None more so than the changes to our own school. However changes to his surroundings did not change Peadar's dedication to the children in his care.

In his 26 years in Buaile Beag, Peadar has influenced the lives of countless children in his care. It is a true testament to him that he remains ever popular among staff, parents but especially children. He will be sorely missed.

We wish him every good luck in his retirement.
