National Bike Week

The week of the 15th of June to the 19th of June saw the launch of Bicycle Week in Scoil Naomh Sheosaimh.
Events started on Wednesday with 'Bling Your Bike' where pupils dressed up their bikes in anything from tinsel to computer keyboards!
Thursday saw the 'Big Cycle' where 58 pupils cycled almost 2 miles from our school to Cappagh Park with parents joining in! Those who could not cycle, walked and we enjoyed a picnic and games in the park.
On Friday our new bicyle shed was officially launched by Tiarnán from An Taisce. Prizes were given for those who blinged their bikes and a grand raffle was held with the much coveted prize of a bike going to one of our Senior Infants!
