Be a part of our new building. Join the names on our wall of fame!

Here your name will be permanently displayed in the new school building. You can decide to display your child's name, your family name or maybe the name of a past pupil you would like remembered in this way.

Each 'brick' will cost €30 and payment should be made to the school before June 24th 2011

We hope that as many pupils (past, present and future), parents, staff, neighbours, friends and all proud to be associated with Buaile Beag school will support this initiative and help ensure our children enjoy the finest facilities and resources we can provide.

Our school is constantly growing and is at the moment undergoing a large extension (as can be seen from the pictures below). We are currently nearing completion of this very exciting and ambitious building project to provide the very best facitilities available for our children. We have added a new entrance foyer, four new classrooms, a new learning support room and a general purpose. sports hall that we hope will become an invaluable asset to our community.

Our project also involves extensive redevelopment work on our playground facilities as well as provision of parking spaces and a safe drop-off and collection point near the new entrance.

The Department of Education and Skills have provided much of the funding for the work to date. It is also envisaged, however, that the current school facilities be modernised to the standard of the new building.

We look forward to inviting all of you to view our new building in the Autumn and also to join us later in the year for our 120th celebrations!
