An Ceathrú Brat Glas
Chun an ceathrú brat glas a fhail bhí orainn sar-iarracht a dheanamh i mbliaina. Shocraigh muid Walking Bus a eagrú gach Ceadaoin agus 'WOW' a chur air. Gach Ceadaoin tagann an Walking Bus le tuismitheoirí agus páisti de gach aois ó Chnoc na Cathrach agus ón Droim. D'eirigh go maith leis go dtí seo agus tá suil againn go gcuideoidh sé linn an brat glas a fháil.
In order to obtain our fourth green flag this year we have had to put in an extra special effort with regards to transport. We decided to pick Wednesday as our designated walking to school day- or WOW day! Every Wednesday a walking bus, headed by parents, leave from Knocknacarra and head up the Clybaun road collecting children on their way, while another walking bus leaves from Drom. It has proven to be a great success and one which we hope will guarantee us our green flag!
W.O.W - Our Walking Buses
We have two walking buses. We got high-vis jackets. We are trying to get the green flag. We are doing really well. Some people walk or cycle every Wednesday. We have the high-vis jackets so cars can see the people who are walking. I walk every day. It can be dangerous when you walk or cycle because the cars are still on the road. when the Drom walking bus is walking we see cars, houses and dogs. I bring my dog walking too. We get excercise. It is very good for your body and your health. We all love walking.

The Green Schools Committee
The Green Schools Committee is a group of children from the school that try to encourage other children to walk to school so that we can get our fourth green flag. The school have organised a walking day and walking buses with help from parents. All the children that walk wear reflective jackets. Every Wednesday the Green Schools Committee have to count to see how children got to school that day.
